What Kind of Wax Do You Use?
At SweetPea Waxing Boutique, we use both soft and hard waxes. Each wax has its own unique application.
Soft Wax
Our soft wax is used for for finer body hair removal such as legs, arms or chest and back hair. That’s right! In addition to our popular leg waxing services, chest and back hair removal is a very popular service for our male clients. Don’t be shy guys. Lots of men wax and we promise to take good care of you!
Hard Wax
We also use a lot hard wax here at SweetPea. Our hard wax is used for all of our bikini waxing services, as well as facial waxing on areas like eyebrows and the upper lip.
Our wax specialists are very particular about the waxes that we use. For hard wax, we choose an Azulene wax with Camomile Extract. Azulene, which is also a natural derivative of the chamomile plant, is what gives the wax its blue color. In addition to making it a pretty color, Azulene has also been shown to have anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. It has soothing qualities which make it ideal for sensitive areas.
